Nick and Cara (engagement)

Nick and Cara are getting married next year and Rayne Films will be shooting and documenting there special day. We went to palm desert to shoot these engagement photos in about 108 degree weather. It was hot very hot but the outcome of these photos made us and them very happy. We also tested out our new lens Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART lens, we are very happy with the performance of this lens as you can see.

C100 + MOVI M5 (Footage reel)

I have wanted a movi ever since watching the sample video when it came out. This is a breakthrough device for motion cinematography. I heard about other companies using the C100 with the smaller movi the M5. So I tried it out, it took a while to get everything dialed in the first time using it. But after I was familiar with all of the adjustments on the movi it only takes about 2 min to balance the camera. I even switched lenses during my shoots from the Tokina 11-16 cine lens to the Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART lens. Only took 1-2 minutes to balance for the new lens. Check out the sample video bellow and please ask any questions that you might have.

Not heavy at all even with a bigger camera (C100).

Balance is very simple to master.

Batteries last a pretty long time about 5-6 when I used it.

Needs auto focus or a focus puller

City of Lions (What Will it Take)

City of Lions is from Orange County, California. Similar sound to 30 seconds to mars. I am a fan of this band and also friends will everyone in the band, so shooting there epic music video was a real honor to me. The music video was shot on the Black Magic Cinema Camera (2.5K ) in raw. Also the slow motion shot were shot with the FS700 which gave us the ability to shoot in 240fps slow motion. I am more then proud of how this music video came out. Check it out and let me know what you think! :)

Brad + Sarah // Claremont, California (Claremont Videographer)

Brad and Sarah were such an amazing perfect couple to work with. There wedding was at a local place called the Claremont Colleges. The Claremont colleges is a place that is very nice to shoot and has a lot of different locations to shoot. The couple had a lot of energy and wanted to get as many shots as we had time for. This is probably one of my favorite couple sessions by far. The circular stairs were amazing and I had so many ideas when I saw this.
